Collaboration is key in architecture & design projects, and UNI makes it easy to bring together talented individuals. Here’s how you can invite team members to your project and manage their roles effectively.
Step 1: Accessing the Team Members Section
Navigate to the 'Team Members' section within your project dashboard. This is where you can manage all aspects of your team's involvement.
Step 2: Inviting Collaborators
Invite collaborators by:
Entering their UNI username, if they already have an account. They'll receive a notification in their account, an invitation on their project dashboard, and an email invite.
Inviting them via email if they're not on UNI. They’ll need to accept the invite through the email, which will redirect them to the project dashboard to join the collaboration.
Defining Roles and Permissions
Assign Roles: While adding team members, assign roles to each collaborator in the project. This could range from Assistant, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Project Manager, Mentor etc. This role will be publicly visible to everyone.
Manage Permissions: Visit the 'Manage Permissions' tab in your project to see what each role entails. Here, you can also adjust permissions to suit the specific needs of your project.
Collaborating with Organizations
Adding Organizations: If collaborating with or on behalf of an organization, you can add one or more organizations to your project. This can be a new organization or one already existing in UNI's dataset.
Creating an Organization Profile: For new organizations, you’ll need to provide details like the organization’s name, tagline, country, state, website, and logo.
